Duke Homestead and Tobacco Museum
The Duke Homestead and Tobacco Museum includes the main house (circa 1852), two early tobacco factories, a curing barn and a packhouse. A museum features exhibits detailing the history of the tobacco industry and the contributions of the Duke family.

Bennett Place State Historic Site
The Bennett House is the location where the civil war ended in 1865 and the remaining troops were surrendered to General T. Sherman. A surrender re-enactment is held every April. Guided tours of the property are offered. Several exhibits are displayed including photographs, uniforms, flags and guns.
